In early 2022, the industry-leading web3 startup RECUR launched NFTU: A first-of-its-kind marketplace supplying student athletes the ability make income from their NIL. This partnership provided me with an incredible opportunity to produce marketing ads, creative, and motion graphics for 50 schools and over 150 athletes from college to the NBA including Ja Morant, Klay Thompson, Carmelo Anthony, Paul Pierce, Drew Timme, and many more.
My typical day also includes producing marketing creative for well-known brands such as Nickelodeon, TMNT, and Star Trek. I also use my extensive print background to produce creative for RECUR's experiential events at conferences and tradeshows.
Working directly with global brands such as Nickelodeon and Paramount opens up many opportunities to work with brands that shape pop culture. Check out a teaser video I produced for an upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles release.
Nickelodeon's first ever web3 drop reached #1 on OpenSea within hours of releasing to the public. I worked on concepting as well as supplied sound design and motion graphics for their social assets, including the teaser above.
RECUR unveiled their full rebrand in early 2023. The rebrand was developed fully in-house, with meticulous detail and consideration of RECUR's customer base, voice, industry aesthetics, and aspirations as a leading company in the web3 space.
The rebrand was unveiled during Art Basel 2022 in Miami. I edited the recap video above to tease the new brand as well as show off some of RECUR's in-person, AR experiences from the event.
