Though I always try to experiment and elevate within the sports and entertainment design world, I still think it’s important to practice with something out of the box. With that in mind, why not challenge my branding skills with a project that’s within a completely different industry?
For this exercise, I created Purrs and Plants, a philanthropic online shop that combines cats and plants; two companions known to reduce stress and provide a better quality of life. Beginning with simply the name, I continued to build out the brand identity including logo, wordmark, icons, color palette, typography, social creative, and even a few garments.

I really enjoyed this design challenge. Creative concepting in a new industry unlocked different ideas on how to approach and understand audience, branding, logo design, and storytelling through color and image.
